Deposit and Payment

The retainer must be paid in full at the time of booking. Retainer secures the time and services of the Photographer for the sitting and is non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation, it being the agreed loss suffered by the photographer due to cancellation. Sittings that are postponed to a later date will retain the fee as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time.

Following payment of the retainer, balance of any fees due is to be paid on, or before the date of the sitting. No photographs will be delivered until all payments due have been paid in full. Payment for additional images and albums is to be made when they are ordered

Copyright and Reproductions

All photographic materials, including but not limited to digital files, negatives, transparencies, proofs, and previews, shall be the exclusive property of the Photographer. The Photographer shall own the copyright in all images created and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions.

Client Usage

The Client is obtaining prints for personal use only, and shall not sell said prints or authorize any reproductions thereof by parties other than the Photographer. Without permission from the Photographer, the Client shall not download, copy, print, screen shot, use as a basis for derivative works, manipulate in any way, or otherwise use the Photographer’s images.

 Return Policy

Our goal at Shelles Creative Photography is that you are completely satisfied with your purchase.  

In the event of inclement weather, camera malfunction or any other unforeseen event that prohibits Shelles Creative Photography from completing the session on the scheduled date and time that was booked, the clients will have the option to reschedule the session or receive a full credit to their account in the amount of their retainer to be used towards any future session. If the client fails to attend the scheduled event on the day and time that was reserved, no refunds will be given under any circumstances.  Rescheduled dates, due to last minute cancellations on the part of the client, will result in a $35 reschedule fee. 

Shelles Creative Photography has a strict policy of no refunds once a transaction has been completed.  (i.e. The client selects photographs, products, digital files or proofs and completes payment on these products, it is then considered non-refundable.)  If the client receives an incorrect photo than was selected at their ordering appointment, you must notify Shelles Creative Photography within one week of receipt.  Shelles Creative Photography will process the correct photo to the client free of charge.  No refunds will be giving due to "not liking" the file once received.

Policies

All session fees, prints and products (including digital products) are subject to KY state sales tax and shipping when applicable.  Due to the nature of photography, all sales are final.  Payment for orders are due in full when the order is placed unless you have made arrangements to complete a payment plan of 1, 2, or 3 months.  Products will not be distributed until the order is paid in full.  Products arrive approximately 3 weeks after the payment is received.  All rates are subject to change at any time.  

All rates are non-negotiable.
